We have recently had the South Course Officially re rated by Golf Australia (SA), due to some changes in the length of holes and the implementation of a White Tee option for use in competition play, which will provide the ability to spread the usage and wear across tee blocks and provide players with a better tee block surface year-round.

We have installed new Red, White & Blue Tee Markers to the teeing areas and will have all new tee signs installed in the coming weeks displaying the changes in hole distances and Index ratings.

From Monday 15th August all play during the week will be played from the Red & White Tees Only with the Blue Tees in play on Weekends and for Special Events.

Hole indexes have been amended in collaboration with North Adelaide Golf Club, using the club’s years of competition scoring averages.

New Scorecards will be available from Monday 15th August, for use in social and competition play that clearly displays all adjustments made.

North Adelaide Golf Course Weekly Competition players will remain with the current tee block options for both men and women.

  • Ladies Red Tee
  • Men, White & Blue Tee (weekend only)

At this stage, all social round players regardless of gender can choose to play from, Red or White Tees during the week with the Blue Tee an option on weekends only. This is in line with the golfing industry worldwide to provide Gender neutral teeing options. Providing players choices, depending on their abilities or for Ladies to challenge themselves from longer tees. Our Orange Tee course will also become available again, an option for beginners or players choosing to play a shorter course.

Gender neutral competition play has been taken into future consideration with all tee markers officially rated for play by men and women. At the time this becomes affective, we may see a break in tradition and introduce alternate tee colours to what is currently in place breaking away from the perception of Men and Ladies only tee options!

Please note, all NAGC and Social Club competitions remain the responsibility of each club.
